Review for Missing In America-Veterans recovery Program, GLENDALE, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Being involved in several Veteran support organization, I have found the Missing In America Project to be the most dedicated group of volunteers anywhere. The hours that are spent finding, processing and burying these forgotten American Heroes is staggering. The time and effort spent discussing and getting laws passed to support the MIAP's mission and get the Veterans their deserving end is overwhelming at times. The staff of the MIAP needs all the financial help and support they can get.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

attending missions and visiting funeral homes searching for these forgotten American Heroes.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

try and find more volunteers and organizations to support the mission.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the satisfaction of seeing these American Heroes layed to rest with honor and dignity.,

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

fantastic and dedicated.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

start a nation wide campaign to get the mission completed in every state.

Ways to make it better...

we had more volunteers and the funds to persue the mission.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

lack of funding and archaic laws that slow the process of getting the Veterans buried.

One thing I'd also say is that...

The MIAP is slowly making headway and needs all the financial and physical support it can muster.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Volunteer & Events Coordinator.
