Review for Missing In America-Veterans recovery Program, GLENDALE, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been with this organization since the very beginning as their web administrator and then National Chaplain and board member. I conduct funerals for the local area MIAP Veterans that are found and I made the trip across the U.S. from California to Arlington. I have never ridden with a more dedicated and honorable group of people. The only compensation these volunteers receive is the feeling they get knowing that they are doing the right thing.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

giving final rest to 113 forgotten or homeless Veterans

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

not change a thing.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the dedication of the members to follow through and get the job done.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

grow in leaps and bounds.

Ways to make it better...

the trip across the US to Arlington had more volunteers that could have afforded to go.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

informing the public of the numbers of cremains sitting on shelves and getting laws changed to allow these cremains to be taken care of.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Board Member & I am a member of the Board of Directors, the Web Administrator and the National Chaplain. I have conducted funeral services for 113 Veterans in the last 18 months.
