Review for International Foundation for the Physically Disabled, Folsom, CA, USA
I found a listing online for organizations who accepted prosthetics no longer needed. As I understand, the components are used to either make new artificil limbs, or the entire item is passed on to those who are in need. When my husband passed away I didn't know what to do with his artificial leg. After several correspondence with this firm, I was pleased to learn they could use the item and was eager to work with me. After shipping the "leg" I received a very nice Thank You and a receipt to be used when filing my Income Tax Return. My association with the firm was totally a positive one.
