In one of the smallest, poorest rural counties, with no laws or county personnel to back them up, this group of all volunteers with little experience have educated themselves and their community and changed the entire dynamic of animal care in this county. I am a wildlife biologist involved in animal rehabilitation and dog rescue my whole life, and I have never encountered a group so ready to adapt to each situation and each citizen while keeping the welfare of the animal front and center. Every penny of your support will be maximized, and the need is still so great.
