I have volunteered at A Call to College as a high school adviser for 6 years and it is a wonderful organization. College or any form of education beyond high school is so important to succeed in the world today and, for too many, the cost is too great. A Call to College advisers help juniors and seniors at Newark High School navigate the financial aid and scholarship maze so that they can achieve their goal of higher education. The teamwork at A Call to College, from the board down, along with the collaboration with the Newark school system is amazing. I am proud to be a part of an organization that is helping young people pursue their passions!
