Review for Operation Shoebox, Belleview, FL, USA
I am a retired combat veteran and I wish we had this group when I was in Vietnam. My wife and I are volunteers for Operation Shoebox and go every Monday to make sure the troops get the support that prior troops never got.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the letters the troops send back to Operations Shoebox. When you are overseas in a combat zone you feel alone and when you get anything from people back home it helps you get through the day.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The organization is run the best I have seen organization run.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The biggest thing I enjoy is how many people are involved with this group and how much everyone goes out of there way to make sure the troops are not forgotten.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Everyone puts their hearts into this group and are very given people.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Help all of the troops overseas. The main problem we have it the cost for postage. The organization is unable to get any help from anyone with the cost of postage.
Ways to make it better...
I can't think of any way to make it better.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Rasing funds for postage. Postage is the BIGGEST expense in this organization. The other challenge is to have people donate more items for the troops.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This group has touched some many troops that this Organization should be the best recognized one among the troops.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
