Review for CENTRAL ILLINOIS HONOR FLIGHT INC, Effingham, IL, USA
This organization provided a trip for me to see the WWII Memorial in Washington DC, all free of charge. It was the best day of my life and I would not have been able to complete the trip without their efforts.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Receiving the gratitude of a greatful nation in recognizing and acknowledging our efforts in the war.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Stand back and allow those already in charge lead the way they are. There is nothing that could be improved upon.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The ability and support in taking veterans, nearly all over 80 years of age on a free one day trip to Washington DC. The amount of planning and time that had to be accounted for to make this the best day of my life.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The board members, organizer, guardians, volunteers at the airports and at all stops along the way went out of their ways to make sure I knew I was appreciated for my efforts in the war, so long ago!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Take every WWII Veteran that was still able to make a trip like mine to see their memorial before it was too late.
Ways to make it better...
I could not think of anything to write.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Time (1,000 WWII Veterans are dying per day!)
One thing I'd also say is that...
This was indeed the best day of my life, nothing of my 31,026 days prior to this could ever come close to what I experienced on my trip.
