Review for Operation Once in a Lifetime, Allen, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Operation once in a lifetime is indeed an amazing organization that helps men and women in the armed forces and their precious children and families. First I heard, then I saw, then I believed, finally I got involved. I heard & saw the needs, then I got involved and after reading the results I believed. OOIAL impacted so many precious human beings who are or have been fighting for our very freedom.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the stories after having fulfilled needs by mending bodies and mending lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Wish to get the Dallas Cowboys involved & many other celebrities. Get on National news networks.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Knowing I have helped fulfill needs even if in a small way

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Business associates, other people who saw the same need, & soldiers themselves

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Grow into other areas of need where they can counsel and repair lives, help to mend bodies, rehabilitate human beings on an even larger scale.

Ways to make it better...

I was able to give more time. If I could encourage more people to volunteer

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funds, manpower, and exposure.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & I worked a pancake breakfast, helped organize the resale shop, donated when there was a need, & volunteered at a function on behalf of the soldiers and their families.
