The people and organizations helping to rescue and heal abused animals are unsung heroes. The story of Caitlyn is so heart wrenching it was difficult to read. How is someone capable of doing something so cruel to a helpless animal? I volunteer at the local shelter and see first hand how cruel people can be. I sincerely hope Caitlyn gets adopted by a family who will appreciate what a special girl she is.
