Review for Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE), Santa Clara, CA, USA
I was a student volunteer at PACE. I had to do a graduation project based upon a social issue and I decided to select autism as my topic. That's when I found PACE. I volunteered in one of the classrooms at PACE for three weeks, and it was an eye opening experience. The kindness of all the workers and teachers there truly embraced the idea of a trusted and welcoming learning environment.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
interacting with the children. They need a place to learn and grow, and PACE can provide it.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to see the dedication and passion of all the teachers and helpers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
extremely friendly and supportive of my graduation project. It was very easy to talk to them.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
grow to provide more and better services for children with autism, and provide more residential homes for adults with autism.
Ways to make it better...
I had been able to see the children doing different activities and go on an outing with the class.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the lack of funding. With more resources, it could purchase better tools in order to help these children communicate.
