Review for PetChance.org, Northborough, MA, USA
Luna's chance didn't have a happy ending, but I can't deny without PetChance I wouldn't have been able to get a proper diagnosis for her, closure, and well, a chance. We started looking for funds because we spent everything we had JUST to have her seen when the initial symptoms started, and as she got worse and worse we needed to take her in again but had no means to. The simple act of sharing a story made such a huge impact. We raised over $1,000 in less than 24 hours. I shared on Facebook, my Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr and people who could give, gave. People who could not, shared and managed to find others who could give a little more. Unfortunately though we were able to take her in for care very quickly, she was too far gone and we were out of nowhere suddenly making a decision on how to say our goodbyes. I will never forget the random acts of kindness people from random parts of the country put into this, the generosity, the warm wishes, the support, it's all helped the wound hurt a little less. I am eternally grateful for PetChance for helping make this happen. Luna died in our arms under euthanasia and will be cremated. The full amount was not used, either. So another thing I found beautiful is how those proceeds can go towards the care of other animals at the same facility who may need it. This company goes above and beyond to give people and their loved fuzzy (scaley or slithery) ones exactly what's in their name. A chance.
