I can speak first hand of the efforts of WWP and how they have help to transform my life for the better. After I was evacuated from Baghdad Iraq in 2004 I came home to a new world, an new me. Although I have all of my fingers and toes I knew I was not right. From 2004 to 2014 I battled PTSD on my own. I separated myself from events , and lost contact with others who went through the same thing as me. I never talked about my PTSD because I knew "They would not understand".

2014 my wife told me that she signed me up for WWP. I told her I am not a wounded warrior...boy was I wrong!! Long story short, In February of 2015 I attended an Odyssey Trip along with 14 other vets. We spent a week in Niagara NY, where we were not only challenged Physically but mentally. The best take away from this event was that we all walked away knowing we are not alone! We made new friends for life (With who we have meet on different occasions, and have called each other just to check in). Since this event I have been more active. I am reconnecting with my wife and kids and our live in general has gotten so much better. I owe all of this to WWP!!
