Review for Arabian Rescue Mission Inc, Leitchfeild, KY, USA
I have got a real problem with charities that SEND money to get money. That said, I have asked to removed from their mailing list. How can non-profits afford to do this? How much money does ARM waste by sending out half dollars, hoping for a donation? Very irresponsible in my book. I'm a huge animal lover, and it could be they do great work, but I won't support a non-profit that does stuff like this.
I'm sorry you feel that way and that you won't support us. It is a difficult decision on which types of fundraising to allow, however since that particular letter generated new leads and quite a few new supporters it was certainly worth the effort. What you don't realize, and quite frankly neither did I, it doesn't cost us a penny to do these mailings nor very little time invested. The support the mailings generate are people who otherwise would not have even known about our work and were not already supporting us. So even if it were to supply us with one new supporter who donates, it has helped. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience and upset this may have caused you.
