The Southern Heritage Air Foundation is a great non-profit organization, aimed at education and commemoration. They have a unique collection of memorabilia, with stories that will make you laugh and cry. On top of what they offer on a daily basis, the foundation does an immense amount of work with veterans and active military by hosting luncheons and once in a lifetime events. Through the foundation, I have met individuals from all over the world and heard both famous and untold stories from the generation that sacrificed so much for this country. On top of the history, they also offer rides in their airplanes, some of which are vintage! Their work is truly inspiring.
