This review is to encourage and thank those that fund The Center for Child Counseling's internship program! Having completed my masters degree requiring significant time, effort, and expense, the additional requirement of continued supervision with out of pocket cost loomed... imagine my surprise to discover the kind of program offered by the Center for Child Counseling ~ truly a win-win-win arrangement! Through providing small group play therapy sessions in a preschool, I gain valuable experience that contributes to my continued training and growth (my private practice at this time does not afford the opportunity to learn and practice small group play therapy). The children involved benefit, and the cost of my supervision is covered (I am 'paid' to volunteer, as my supervision is 'free' in exchange for my time). This whole concept is simply brilliant and I am utterly grateful and blessed to partake of the benefits this program provides! Thank you, thank you for your continuing support of The Center for Child Counseling's internship program, which offers a rich and fulfilling practicum for Master’s level and Registered Interns!
