Wounded Warrior Project in San Antonio has completely changed my perspective on Veteran Services and resources.
As a Veteran and MSW, I have been looking for work in and around the San Antonio community. After joining the WWP Alumni program, I was directed to the Warriors to Work Program and specifically Linda Cubero. After touching base with Linda, she rigorously helped me develop my interview skillset and prepared me for a mock interview. Nevertheless, the preparation, and mock interview helped me land a new position at Hill Country MHDD as a case manager. It was great as a few weeks after the interview as I was presented with my new opportunity, the interviewers stated how well I was prepared, and asked me how I did it. I let them know about the Warriors to Work Program.
Linda Cubero is phenomenal at what she does, and would recommend her to any Veteran seeking work, or to dramatically brush up on the interviewing skills to score the dream job.
