I have been a volunteer at K9's for Warriors for over 2 years and served in several capacities for them. I have first hand experience with their work to rescue dogs and transform them to become service dogs, saving most from certain death. I have seen the looks on the Warrior's faces when they first meet their dogs and I have witnessed the transformation come over the two as they worked together and bonded as a team. The dog and trainer wind up rescuing one another from a dark and uncertain future that either would have faced alone. Makes me proud to say that I am associated with such a great organization, watch the rescue/transformation process first hand and to see that donations are spent wisely and carefully.
