The Polk County Sheriff's Office in Dallas, Oregon has utilized the Cross Creek Alpaca rescue twice in the last year and a half. The first time we used them was after we seized approximately 180 alpacas from a farm that couldn't care for the animals any longer. Throughout that seizure, the Cross Creek Alpaca Rescue was great to work with and helped re-home the animals. Their expertise and networking ability helped us complete the project in a short period of time which helped keep our costs and resources as low as they could be. They also helped with securing donations to help pay for the care of the animals while they were in our care.

The second time was when we seized many horses, goats and fowl. They were able to assist in re-homing the goats and fowl for us. Again, they competed the project in a short amount of time which kept our expenditures down.

Without them, we wouldn't have been as successful in finding new homes for these animals. They were great to work with and are a great resource to have available when needed.
