Review for SLB Radio Productions, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

SLB is a wonderful family oriented interactive program. The music, quizzes, games and live performances are always a way to challenge all ages to engage together every Saturday morning. The Saturday Light Brigade is a must do every Saturday morning and visits to the studio are always memorable. This program is just another gem in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. The Krhovsky household has been listening and sharing for years and years. Thank you for always being there!

SLB radio is a family program every Saturday morning for six wonderful hours! Our family started listening over 20 years ago, when the boys were young and we were in the car on our way to their soccer games. The program would engage everyone to put on their thinking caps with the different puzzles and games and the music was and always has been appropriate to the family and the season. Now this great show can be heard around the world via the internet. Thanks for all your hard work to Larry, Rikki and crew! Love YOU! Philomena, John and Sons

When our children were young, we discovered SLB radio while on our way to visit their grandparents. We loved the games and we made it a family competion to come up with the correct answers. We soon were looking forward to the amusing tunes and games each weekend. Finally someone decided to join in and call in our answers. On one occasion, our correct answer gave us tickets to a viewing of a movie hosted by SLB, at the Oaks theatre in Oakmont Pa. Everyone there were SLB winners and we all got to meet the host, Larry! This event was an opportune to introduce friends to SLB. When SLB could be connected to through the internet, I informed out of state, family members to tune in on Saturday mornings. SLB is now listened to, shared and enjoyed around the globe. It's great to hear the up and coming young talent of school children, while they learn about radio.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

helping to bring our family closer through sharing songs and on air requests and call ins.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

ask SLB how it could improve on a such great thing!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that they are so in touch with keeping radio alive and viable for everyone!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

open minded, caring and sharing.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand into the future.

Ways to make it better...

everyone would tune in and listen.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funding.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
