I've donated to RA several times and participated in several randoms acts of kindness through their events. While GISHWHES isn't directly related to RA, it often promotes causes by them as well as other acts that fit with the goals and spirit of the organization. One of the more recent acts they did involved donating feminine hygiene products to local homeless and women's shelters in Texas. This organized event inspired many to do similar acts on their own, which is the exact spirit of random kindness that this organization stands for.

This organization puts on their own small events and publicized them, which then inspire others to act on their own. It's like a ripple effect and it's an amazing thing. It makes a n organization with a relatively small organization with a pretty small budget incredibly effective. It's very inspirational.

One of the biggest events they've ever done was building a center in Jacmel, Haiti. This is probably what they're most known for and it's something to be proud of. A small charity organization built a huge center that greatly benefits those affected by a devestating natural disaster. Talk about inspirational!
