I have been volunteering with Assistance League of Omaha for 5 years. This organization gives one the opportunity to help others in our community who are less fortunate or who may be in difficult or crisis situations. Our motto "Touching lives - Making a difference" inspires our members to take action, not merely talk, when seeing a need for assistance or support. I see from the inside the many dedicated, admirable women who give their time unselfishly to improve the lives of others.
