Review for ENCOMPASS CARES, Dallas, TX, USA
Clients are ignored. I left messages and emailed with no response. I was awarded a grant, but never saw the funds dispersed. I was going to use these funds to travel to South Africa on a mission trip to help jump start a health education program. I was awarded a small grant, but even after emailing both the funds coordinator and the Executive Director as well as calling and leaving messages, I never saw the funds. I know they have my contact information correct because I was notified when I got the grant.
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, your sponsoring organization could not be verified for grant disbursement. The Encompass Cares mission is to care better by supporting medical mission trips, community projects and emergency employee hardships. We do not, however, give grants to individuals as we cannot verify their authenticity. Being good stewards is a pillar of our values.

I adopted my dog Blondie from this organization and could not have been happier with the process. HTAR makes sure their adopters know that they are with you through out the dogs life, whether it's referrals to good veterinarians or boarding, advice on training (they offer a free 30 minute consult with a certified trainer when you adopt). When my boyfriend and I were considering adopting a dog, they never pressured us and listened to our concerns and helped us find the right fit. Finally, I have never met a more enthusiastic group of volunteers. Each of them are dedicated to helping orphan animals good homes.
