As an adopter and volunteer, Short Mugs Rescue Squad is an excellent rescue group to be associated with. This group has fair but high standards when it comes to doing what is best for the pups- and their volunteers! As an adopter, we gained an incredible, fun, loving english bulldog, Jack, to our family. We are extremely thankful that SMRS gave him a chance- being a little misunderstood - he had a few behavioral kinks that he needed help with. The president gave us a chance to help him- and we couldn't be more grateful! As a volunteer, it warms my heart the selflessness that every volunteer I have encountered puts into this rescue - all in the name of helping save lives! Seriously, these people give so much of their time, love, money and never think twice about it if it means helping a furry out. Wonderful group that has saved countless lives - and it all started from one person who saw a need to do more for the short mugs in the state of Texas.
