Review for Vcs Inc, New City, NY, USA
I have served as a volunteer at VCS Inc. since 1999. Since 1970 VCS Inc., a non-profit organization located in Rockland County, NY, has provided continuous service and programs throughout the Hudson Valley and in other areas as determined by the needs and requests of the community. My experience with the Clinical Staff and Executive personnel has always been inspiring. The work VCS does is on the cutting edge of social work. VCS Inc. programs and services are always informed by a common definition of oppression in all its different forms: individual, institutional, linguistic and cultural. It is for this reason that the work VCS Inc. does is so powerful, life changing and innovative. I highly recommend VCS as a meaningful beneficiary of charitable giving so that it may continue to create innovative and effective responses to the pressing social needs and issues of our time.
