I have had a relationship with ACTC for more than 20 years, having been one of the early (and continuing) donors, and having served on its Board for 12 years.

During my career, I have served on the boards, including service as the board president, of two additional nonprofit organizations. I can honestly say that ACTC is the most well run, efficient and effective nonprofit organization I have ever been involved with or otherwise have had any familiarity with.

One cannot help but be extremely impressed with the passion and commitment of everyone involved at every level of ACTC (from the board members to the paid staff to the volunteers), and with the ability of those involved in the development and implementation of ACTC programs to cause ideas, aspirations and dreams to become reality. It is impossible to overestimate the positive impact which ACTC has on the lives of the NHS students and families whom ACTC serves, and, ultimately, upon the Newark community, as a whole.
