I am an IMALIVE volunteer for almost a year now. Suicide has touched my life and the lives of so many others around me. Chatting with individuals on line can be challenging and rewarding. I have learned to put all judgments aside and have found at the end of conversations with those that reach out, there are so many people, both old and young who are desperate for help and not sure where to reach out to get it. This line provides an outlet in a safe environment to talk about feelings they are not sure they should share with anyone else.
