Review for Sojourners Place Inc, Wilmington, DE, USA
Since opening in 1991, the mission of Sojourners’ Place has been to assist homeless men and women on their journey to self-sufficiency through a case-managed, residential program. Sojourners’ Place is unique in that resident men and women can stay as long as necessary to get their lives back on track. Up to 50 residents can be accommodated in our facility. Programs provided include drug/alcohol counseling, mental health therapy, educational training, and access to job training. When residents leave Sojourners’ Place, they leave with a job, a savings account and a place to live. Sojourners’ Place does not charge its residents fees, and consequently is dependent on continuing support from individuals, corporations, the interfaith community, grants and government agencies.
