I cannot say enough great things about the good people with Bastrop Animal Rescue. I have supported and watched this group grow over the last several years and I am continuously in awe of their tireless dedication to helping homeless, abused and neglected pets in their rural community. It's amazing the work they do with a small group of committed volunteers. They assist with everything from hoarding cases to helping pull pets off of the euthanasia list when the shelter is over capacity, as well as helping save dogs from living a sad life on a chain by either working with the owner to surrender the dog or sometimes helping provide fences and dog houses to families so they can provide a safe yard for their dogs to play and live. They also help assist with lost and found pets, as well as coordinate spay/neuters for the pets of low-income families. The team with Bastrop Animal Rescue are honest, dedicated and extremely hard-working.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful people of Austin Dog Rescue! This is a first rate and well run rescue organization that helps save many senior, sick or injured dogs in the Austin Metro area. They often help those dogs who would not have a second chance without ADR's tireless dedication to rehabilitating them and helping them find a loving new forever home. I have always had such good experiences myself and great feedback from others who have worked with, fostered for or adopted from Austin Dog Rescue - that my own organizations confidently selected ADR as one of our Top 10 local rescue groups to recognize and help fundraise for each year at our local events. Kudos to Joyce, Edward, Anne, Liz and all the other ADR Board members and volunteers for always being such wonderful advocates for the homeless dogs of Central Texas!
