I am retired Army and have been involved as a Veteran advocate both professionally and voluntarily for over 40-years.
This group is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It is a program that saves (2) lives- the rescue dog, and the Warrior. Shari and her team are the best, they truly care about all they do, day-in-day-out. I have witnessed first-hand the change in numerous Warriors affect since they became a part of K9s program. In addition I have seen loving dogs that were doomed to die in a matter of days, look at you with a serious love and mission in their eyes. They now have a purpose, it's their turn to save the life of the Warrior they were chosen to be with.
If you are a patriot and a dog lover, you need to get involved in any way you can.
