Review for Oklahoma Performing Arts, Tulsa, OK, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am now a senior in College and have an outstanding GPA, job offers, and am two months away from a bachelors degree. None of this would have been possible without Oklahoma Performing Arts. It is more than a studio it is a family. I have had so much support even when I graduated from the school. I am always in contact with the director who is constantly helping me figure out problems academically, artistically, and emotionally. While I was there I learned responsibility, maturity, and how to work as a team. There is no other place in Oklahoma where you can find all of that plus highly rated arts education. Any time I come back to Oklahome me and the other alumni always make sure we can take at least one class. They deserve as much support as anyone can give. The director is trying to make a difference in Oklahoma and with support I know she can do it.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

more ways than I can count.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

get them more space. It is hard to do ballet class in such a tiny area.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

how no matter how long I am away every time I come back it is like I never left.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

kind and willing to learn new ways.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

buy a building. Be able to sponsor more students so that the director can reach out to more children. Hire more facutly members to assist the director. Also they could buy better floors for thier new buiding.

Ways to make it better...

they had a building. They need a building to train in.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

monitary limits. It is the arts so they need more funding. They can only do so much with what they have, which is very little.

One thing I'd also say is that...

With more money they could be reaching out to more children in Oklahoma which is what the director is wishing to do.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
