I am a volunteer for the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation. It is a small organization that is volunteer driven. I can personally attest that every dollar raised through donations is put directly to pediatric cancer research. This Foundation was started to honor the memory of Ty Louis Campbell, a beautiful boy that was diagnosed with a deadly AT/RT tumor at 2.5 years old. He fought valiantly, but succumbed to the illness and passed away shortly after his 5th birthday. Ty's treatments were horrific, their effects devastating. The family is committed to funding research to find less toxic treatments and hopefully improve the outcome for kids diagnosed with deadly brain tumors. In the two short years this organization has been around, we've raised hundreds of thousands of dollars that have funded a researcher in the lab at Weill Cornell in NYC for two years and partnered with SU2C and St. Baldrick's on various trials. If you are looking for a charity that is worthy of your dollars, this is the one.
