Review for Houston Ballet Foundation, Houston, TX, USA
Having the Houston Ballet instruct our students was like a dream come true! Houston Ballet has helped instill the love of dance in all of our students. With encouragement and praise, the disciplines learned will last for a lifetime. Students enjoyed every minute. Ms. Lauren Anderson makes every student feel special. With a gentle 'firmness', she helps them to excel. She is so graceful, but yet so powerful. Thanks to Houston Ballet, you have changed their lives forever.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing the smiles on the girls faces when they walked onto the dance floor. At the end of the first session, some of the girls were sad because they wanted more time and more classes.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
have other locations so that more people could benefit from them.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the professionalism and dedication. I also enjoyed the Nutcracker visit because almost all of the children in our school were able to learn more about the Nutcracker even though some have never been to a ballet.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind, patient, dedicated, loving and caring.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
offer full-time, year-round dance classes for more schools in the area as well as afterschool programs. It could also send some lucky students to master classes around the world. It could include adults who never had a chance to dance.
Ways to make it better...
I had been able to participate in every class.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
limited funds to provide more services to more students.
One thing I'd also say is that...
without this organization, many young children would never get to experience the joy of dance. I am so glad that our students have been given this opportunity and I pray that it will never end.
