Review for Center for the Arts of Homer Inc, Homer, NY, USA
I've lived in Homer for 3 years and in that time have become a huge fan and supporter of the Center for the Arts of Homer! Every concert that we've attended has been so impressive, acts from many countries. I've seen incredible, energetic acts like Eileen Ivers and Teada. I've had friends come from out of town for concerts at the center. Dan Hayes has great vision for the center - it's amazing to me what he's done for the center in such a short period of time. I think this venue could be A PREMIER 300-400 seat venue in NYS outside of NYC! Everyone who performs speaks to how much they love performing at the center and how much the appreciate the opportunity to perform there. I would never have thought that a town as small as Homer could provide concerts with such depth and diversity of talent. And at prices that make attendance affordable for everyone! Dan and the volunteers provide a wonderful welcoming atmosphere at the center for all events, including the free movies. What a joy to have a place like this in our community!

the incredible talent that Dan brings to the center. The Friday-night movies in the winter. (I saw Lawrence of Arabia on the big screen for the first time at the center!)

welcoming, hard-working, energentic and appreciative volunteers and staff who know first-hand what the center has to offer the community. One can see their love for the center in the effort they put in at all events.
