Review for DEL SOL PERFORMING ARTS ORGANIZATION, San Francisco, CA, USA
The Del Sol Performing Arts Organization together with the Del Sol String Quartet is enriching the Arts through performance, commissioning, education outreach to all levels of music students. The performances express the artists' virtuosity and bring mind expanding new music to the audience. Great efforts are made by the Quartet to help the audience understand the new music through talks at performances. In an never ending search for creating important artistic work the organization collaborates with other artists in film, installation, dance and theater finding venues and funding to actualize their collective visions. DSPAO's commitment to education is a priority. Quartetfest and Composing Together Programs involve teaching young musicians new skills, paths of thought and connecting them to music and the creation of music.
