Review for Prometheus Dance Inc, Framingham, MA, USA
I am an elder dancer with Prometheus Dance Elders Ensemble. I also take Diane Arvanites' company class and serve on the Board of Prometheus Dance. The artistic director/choreographers, Diane Arvanites and Tommy Neblett are superb dancers, inspiring teachers, innovative choreographers who have done dances for presentation in elementary schools, in senior centers, in assisted living centers, Alzheimer's centers, who have been commissioned to create dances for such diverse audiences as persons with Tourette's Syndrome and opera goers. In many of their dances they are alert to problems of social justice, e.g. oppression of women under autocratic regimes, dislocation of persons in war-torn countries.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
watching the wonderful dances they perform.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the camaraderie with the dancers, the pleasure of working with the artistic directors, watching the dances and the dancers evolve over time.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
enthusiastic about the company.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
1)buy its own building for rehearsals and performances; pay the dancers better and pay them for rehearsal, as well as performance, time; have more elaborate stage sets; hire live musicians for every concert; hire an administrative assistant/publicist.

Review for The Dance Complex, Cambridge, MA, USA
I am an elder dancer in my 70's and so grateful to the Dance Complex for being there. It has changed my life! So many wonderful dancer/choreographer/teachers work there, e.g. Diane Arvanites, Tommy Neblett, Daniel McCusker,Danny Swain, just to name a few,and there are plentiful opportunities to take classes and excellent classes geared to older dancers, as those taught by Andy Taylor-Blenis and Tommy Neblett. Prometheus Dance Elders Ensemble, a post-professional company of which I am a member, is based there with rehearsals and annual performances. Rozann, Jayne, and Danny keep everything running. The newly renovated space is welcoming.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Modernize the building, e.g. get new windows that opened and closed easily, get better lighting, pay dancers for rehearsals.
