I found out about Happy Cat when I was rescuing kittens before Hurricane Sandy; I finally trapped the mother and had her neutered by a city agency. It was then I found out that the kitty had cancer.

My vet operated to remove the tumor and found she was also FIV+. I eventually had to release her but didn't want to let her out in the winter after all that. My friend ((Debby) who rescues cats told me about Chris Arsenault and I was so relieved when he agreed to take "Princess Blue" into the Happy Cat Sanctuary. For however long she lives(d), she was safe and I had peace of mind.
