Review for Willamette Animal Guild, Eugene, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

WAG has been a godsend for people like me in animal rescue and for community members that cannot afford the high prices of most veterinarians. I also volunteer with them and it is one of the days of the week I really look forward to. They are a great group of individuals who are not only providing low cost and HIGH quality spays and neuters, but they truly are all animal advocates. That is not something I can say about all vet care professionals. Thank you WAG for all of your hard work to make this happen and to be an inspiration to us all. When we finally do make a dent in the overpopulation problem in our community, you'll be the first I will salute!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

many differnt areas. They work with other groups in an effort to eliminate the overpopulation problem. That is their number one goal. That and no more animal suffering.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

apply for more grants.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The high quality work they provide and their level of professionalism and compassion.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very friendly and accommodating in training the job expectations. Most of them not only work there (some as unpaid volunteer staff)all do animal rescue in some form on the side. They truly care about animal welfare.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Eliminate the problem in our community!

Ways to make it better...

I had more time to give!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

other 'for-profit' clinics lowering prices to be competitive with theirs.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I cannot imagine not having them as a resource with the work I do.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010

Role:  Volunteer & I help care for animals post-surgery.
