Review for Wenar Productions Limited Actors Conservatory Theatre, Millwood, NY, USA
Live theater is something that is invaluable to a community. It's a means for people who otherwise would not get to see live theater (on Broadway)to see quality productions. In the case of ACT, a means to introduce children to the arts - and to learn by letting them get involved! ACT has produced wonderful children's theater productions, in addition to their consistently great quality of adult-based productions. They produce musicals, comedies, and dramas -- all of extraordinarily good quality. They draw fine talent to their stage for all aspects of theater, because they are a well-run organization that appreciates the people who participate, in whatever capacity. It is SO important that wonderful organizations like ACT get the support they need to continue to make the quality of life better in the community.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Not only have I experienced the fulfillment of being part of a production that brings laughter and happiness to an audience, my own daughters have also been able to be involved and have grown in confidence and ability, thanks to the opportunities with ACT
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
The only thing I could hope for is that more people from the surrounding area would find out about this terrific experience and volunteer to keep it alive in the community.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
It's very rewarding to be a part of a team effort, such a a show, and know that your energy went toward the end result.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Everyone from their board of directors to the set people and costumers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Make a whole lot of people extremely happy! The money would be put to the best use possible.
Ways to make it better...
The only thing that would make anyone's experience better would be if the group had additional funds to get the equipment, set construction, and costumes they need more readily.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
To Keep their head above water, financially. It's quite expensive to pay rights and a musical director, and musicians for the musicals. And to get more volunteers.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I really commend the people who have been involved any running the group for the past 40+ years. Without their endless hours of devotion, dedication, talents, and perserverence, the group wouldn't be there. And that would be a terrible thing.
