Review for Second Chance Companions, Battle Ground, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is a great way to find a pet and make an addition to your family. If you are realistic in your needs and have a lot patience, then we can help you find the right pet for you to adopt.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

fostering dogs until we found the perfect match for our family. Although it is NOT necessary to foster any animals, it allowed us to get to know approx 20 dogs and find excellent homes for them. Within 6 months, we found the one that we adopted.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the positivity that comes out of the adoption stories. Making a family happy, by helping them find their perfect match and helping the animals one by one.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

so hard working. They have families, work full-time jobs, yet find countless hours to help the animals in our community. They are ALL volunteers doing the best they can.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide low income families food for their pets through our AniMeals program. We could really get a handle on the over pet poplulation by reducing costs in our Spay/Neuter program.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

Review for Festa Italiana Association Inc, Portland, OR, USA

Rating: 4 stars

This is a great time to meet new people and then see them again year after year. Many are now considered friends. Its a quaint, fun event that the whole family can attend.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and hard working. Sometimes the members of the Board are over-worked and it would be great for some of them to delegate the duties if there were more dependable people to rely on.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year
