Review for Love In the Name of Christ of Brevard, Melbourne, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

One of my greatest honors as a Christian has been to serve for Love INC of Brevard because it's there we extend God's love to people in need in a tangible way. Jesus said what we do to the least of our brethren we do it to Jesus and the examples he used were food to eat, water to drink, clothes for the naked, inviting people into your home, visiting the sick, going to the prisons. At Love INC of Brevard we are connecting with 49 local churches so we can partner together with our clients to make a lasting impact on their lives in a transformational way. We give people a hand up not a hand out and that means dignity and respect. So at one of our Partner Church thrift stores for example, our clients received 80 percent discount. So a dresser that costs $50 would cost our client $10 and if they couldn't afford it, they would receive $10 store credit per hour of volunteer work. In this way, the client buys the purchase with dignity and ownership and with a helping hand. Love INC means the world to me because I've had the opportunity to share the love of Christ on our phone lines. It's a great privilege to pray with those in need, to provide emotional support as we partner together through the process. Of all the ministries I've served throughout my life, Love INC is one of the greatest in bringing the church outside of the building walls. It is a blessing and a privilege all in the name of Christ.
