I have always been a patriot, a fact that culminated in joining the Marine Corps during Vietnam, but as great as I felt about serving my country then, it is even a greater honor to serve those who serve America today. This all volunteer service has kept much of the terroristic acts "over there" and the sacrifices of these brave men and women have elevated them to the new "greatest generation" as many serve tour after tour in the very throat of the battle.

WHF has given me a vehicle to provide comfort, care, housing, support and fellowship with those we serve and it has been an honor second to none. We work hard to ensure that the community support is used in a manner that shows the "communities" commitment and love and I think that this message has been received, loud and clear.
