Review for Equus Survival Trust, Lowgap, NC, USA
I am the current President of the Mountain Pleasure Horse Association and this past June, 6 of us traveled to Lexington, VA to perform at the SANA show with our endangered horses. The Equus Survival Trust has been a huge proponent of our rare breed for years, and we were thrilled to be able to attend and perform a flag demonstration as well as participate in the historical class. We were thrilled to be included and had a great time at the show!
Review for Equus Survival Trust, Lowgap, NC, USA
The Mountain Pleasure Horse is a critically endangered Kentucky heritage breed with less than 2500 existing horses alive today. The EST has been an absolute God-send to our association by offering a DNA grant for the past two years which has helped dramatically reduce the cost for breeders trying to register colts. They have been advocates for our beloved breed for years and continue to be a wealth of information and assistance with our many "rare breed" questions and concerns...

The Mountain Pleasure Horse Association has been involved with the Equus Survival Trust for over a decade now. As a rare and critically endangered breed, the EST has been an invaluable resource and proponent for us over the years. Victoria Tollman's wealth of knowledge and support have been two primary reasons why the breed has continued to thrive. Her professionalism as well as knowledge of the rare breed issues have served as wonderful resources for the MPHA. We cannot say enough good things about both Victoria and the Equus Survival Trust!

I am the current President of the Mountain Pleasure Horse Association, a rare & endangered breed from Kentucky. I can't even begin to express my appreciation and, honestly, awe at the dedication, professionalism and assistance this group, and Victoria Tollman in particular, has given us over the years. They have been absolutely instrumental in helping us keep our rare breed alive and healthy. I have depended on them for advice, information and occasionally assistance with serious issues affecting our breed and they have always been professional, informative and dedicated. If 10 stars were available, that's what I'd have rated this wonderful organization! Robin Little-Basil, President, MPHA

Luv luv, luv the EST!! I am the current president of the Mountain Pleasure Horse Association, and I cannot possibly give high enough praise to the Equus Survival Trust and its dedicated staff of volunteers. Without their guidance and invaluable experience over the past years, I truly believe the Mountain Pleasure Horse would have simply slipped away quietly into extinction, or been absorbed by other mountain horse breeds. With the help and guidance of the EST, we are making real progress toward saving our beloved rare breed. The education and promotion this group provides is truly a "lifeline" to many of the endangered equine breeds and those working to save them. Many, many thanks to this wonderful group of folks!
