Review for Newfoundland Pony Conservancy Center, Fitzwilliam, NH, USA
As Executive Director of the equine conservation group, the Equus Survival Trust, (EST) also a Top Rated Greatnonprofits recipient, we applaud the work of the Newfoundland Pony Conservancy Center. Since it’s inception, this Newfoundland Pony advocate group has been an affiliate of EST doing grassroots conservation and advocacy work on behalf of the Newfoundland Pony breed, North America’s only historic pony breed. Here is a photo of a Newfoundland pony representing its breed at one of EST's large rare breed events. Bravo guys! Keep it up!!

As Executive Director of the Equus Survival Trust, an equine nonprofit conservation group for historic breeds, we have enjoyed a long time association with the Newfoundland Pony Conservation Center. The Center continues to be one of our most innovated outreach affiliates, making a difference in the lives of people and the ponies.
We applaud the work they do on behalf of the critically endangered Newfoundland Pony and are happy to continue supporting the work they do.

I am so impressed with the work this nonprofit does on behalf of their critically endangered pony breed, the Newfoundland Pony, and how they have gotten their local non-horse community behind them. The NPCC is not only one of our Equus Survival Trust affiliates, they are often my "go to" when I need innovative ideas to share with other rare breed societies and communities struggling with how to promote, protect, and conserve their rare breed. Bravo!

The Newfoundland Pony Conservancy Center (NPCC) is one our affiliates, we being the Equus Survival Trust, a educational conservation 501c3 nonprofit for endangered equine breeds (and a Top Rated GreatNonProfit winner). We appreciate the dedication and effectiveness the NPCC has working on behalf of it's critically endangered pony breed. This organization is a grass roots effort that not only helps the Newfoundland Pony gain recognition it provides education and has its own breeding program. NCCP supports other breeders, and also engages in outreach, partnering or supporting their local public community with Innovative kids, seniors, and special needs programs involving the ponies.

This rare breed sanctuary for the critically endangered Newfoundland Pony does an exceptional job of promoting their breed and involving their local community, particularly kids. They use a wealth of programs and events both mainstream and outside the box. As the Executive Director of the rare breed equine conservation nonprofit the Equus Survival Trust, I have personally sampled Villi Poni Farm at work. They are second to none.
We can't thank Equus Survival Trust enough for being an important mentor to our program. Deciphering the myriad of advice out there in order to determine what is helpful and what is harmful for rare breeds is a daunting task. EST spells it out clearly; we know we are on the right path for the future. The difficulty is getting others to learn that as well but that daunting task is well worth the effort. The ponies are perfection as is, yet they still face grave danger in the wrong hands, with the wrong ideas about what preservation is vs what is in fact breed destruction. We have learned to tell right away why a person or organization gets involved with endangered equine breeds. Those who clearly put the animal first vs personal recognition or monetary gain shine through. EST is entirely volunteer, no one gets paid anything. Instead of helping their organization first, they help breeds first and the people who give their all to do the same. We know where to turn for expert advice.
