I had the pleasure of meeting Alanna as Founder and President of Boldly Me through Fremont's Chamber of Commerce. When she came to share her experiences and challenges with us. I immediately wanted to learn more and felt I could strongly relate my thoughts and feelings of being different due to my seizure disorder of Epilepsy. She actually provided the opportunity and fortune of me being able to share my own story with a BLOG on the Boldly Me website. She strongly encouraged me and motivated me to continue pursuing and creatively share my own story through my on-going manuscript. I want to share my own experiences, with what I've come to learn or discover. It is a learning opportunity for myself and perhaps others- be it personally, and/or friends and family of epileptics.
Alanna has helped me allow myself to open up, to share and confront my own fears by the opportunity provided through Boldly Me.
