As an adult who grew up with a noticeable birthmark on my face, I was delighted to discover Boldly Me. How awesome it is for young kids to have this resource to develop new talents, celebrate differences and feel good about themselves. This year I went through cancer treatments. The Boldly Me banquet was the first place I went publicly bald after my own hair fell out due to chemotherapy. It was a safe and accepting environment to be “Boldly Me.”
