I had an amazing opportunity, through the help and support of the founder of this organization, to travel to Accra, Ghana with Point Hope. There are many stereotypes about culture in West Africa and my favorite part about traveling was seeing, hands-on, a little piece of the true culture.

I, along with numerous others, traveled to northern Ghana to a village called Fatenta. We got to witness and teach about agriculture, health and safety, education, and my favorite, how awesome God is!

My experience in Ghana and with Point Hope have encouraged my desire to serve the Lord in ministry. Currently, I am a college student and my experiences have also given me connections with International students and have given me more peace about my major. Overall, I am so blessed to have the Point Hope family to be such an influential part of my life and I am incredibly grateful. It was, and is, evident that they follow where the Lord is calling them and serve others in a life-touching way.
