My Nonprofit Reviews

The My Hero website is a great place for young high school students to dream about the type of adults they would like to become. We have them each research a successful person in a career of interest who is not already on the site, consider his or her journey and societal contribution, and then create their own webpage, culminating in how they plan to follow in their role model’s footsteps. I appreciate the site’s simple navigation and commitment to celebrating those making a positive impact. My Hero helps us to steer students’ college and career plans beyond mere success and toward something really worthwhile.
