The International Folk Art Alliance is a superb organization that helps folk artists from around the world in preserving their traditional art through opening avenues for sales--and the support necessary for the artists to enter a world marketplace. My husband and I have sponsored artists for the last 2 years. What a delight to meet them and have a small role in helping! In addition, the shopping experience was unequaled-- with artists from more than 60 nations offering their unique and beautiful wares. "The Market" is a highlight of our year!
