A grandmother could never be so proud as I am, for three of my grandchildren are involved in this wonderful program. They started by singing in Kanta, a community choir dedicated to developing the voice through special training. There's a music reading program using the solfage method, musical notes with hand signs. The children get a chance to perform and gain confidence using their gifts in choir and band.

Each grandchild has become a lover of music and discovered their own specific talents. One plays saxophone and cello, another violin, and last my grand baby girl plays the piano. They've only been a part of this program a couple of years with no prior training. I've seen confidence break through and growth in several other areas as a result of consistent teaching and practice. My recommendation is to find this program, involve your family and yourself and over time it will prove of great benefit.
