Review for Skylark, Brunswick, GA, USA
I have been a receptionist at Care Net Pregnancy Center for the past 5 years. I am amazed at the organization of this center. In serving many clients of different ages, and with varying needs, the staff here is able to provide assistance physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Registered nurses and trained counselors do a wonderful job working with individual needs and circumstances.
The Earn While You Learn program teaches mothers-to-be as well as mothers with young children how to care for and lovingly guide their children as they grow. Mommy dollars are earned as this program is followed. With these printed "dollars" clients can purchase maternity clothes, children's clothes, baby food, diapers, and various kinds of baby needs and equipment. In addition to providing for these needs, the center has great expertise and connections for directing clients for further help in the community. The Braveheart Program ministers to the students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades in Glynn County. These students are encouraged to remain sexually pure until marriage. The girls are able to attend a father/daughter purity ball, and are given the opportunity to sign a purity pledge.
I am thankful to be a part of such a well-run, successful, faith-based program. Marsha Smith
